BUY A JEEP IN SOUTH AFRICA AT OWN RISK.WHAT AN ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE CAR TO OWN IF YOU ARE EVER GOING TO NEED TO GET IT FIXED. I have been without a car for 3 months because JEEP does not have parts and back order does not have ETA's and if they do the ETA's move. I am going to go into a 4th month without a car. Jeep has horrible customer service

Hi Marlene As per our conversation, please see mail below, Please can you look into my matter as is appears I have no choice whatsoever in this regard, as discussed my vehicle in question Jeep Compass limited (2013) Reg:HBR929EC has rust from the boot hinges into the entire roof, and according to experts they cannot rule out rust on the entire vehicle. In my view this is a major structural change that could put the integrity of the vehicle at risk, I really do not feel comfortable in driving the vehicle going forward. The rust on the vehicle in my view is a sign of defected paintwork from Jeep as how is it possible that only after 2years and 11 month can this occur. I also want to point out that no one has made any attempt to provide a courtesy/replacement vehicle as I have been without my vehicle going on for 3 weeks and due to no assistance from any dealer within KZN Durban. I’m am out of pocket due to transport cost as my vehicle’s fuel get subsidised by my company. My company has been understanding thus far but understanding my vehicle is utilised for work purposes which I for almost 3weeks could to for full, they are now putting pressure on me to for full my job obligation, how? I don’t know. I have been the one chasing this matter up via mails and numerous telephone calls once again my expense, between the dealer/panel beater and the Jeep body South Africa FCAGroup. I feel hard done by and feel helpless in this regard and as a consumer I am being solely negatively affected both emotionally and financially, Please help! Regards and Thanks.
